About Brian LaPlace

Hi! I’m DJ Brian (AKA Brian LaPlace) and I DJ Weddings and Events for Wedgewood Weddings at Eagle Ridge in Gilroy, Ca. and I want to be your DJ. I have almost a decade of DJing and emceeing weddings, and I know I can help make your Big Day amazing.

I DJ, emcee and provide live sound for your entire day, from Pre-Ceremony, Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Grand Introductions, Dinner, Speeches, First Dance & Special Dances, Cake, Garter & Bouquet, to great partying with open dancing, straight through to your Last Dance.

I Make It Personal

Every wedding is different, and every couple is different. I do everything I can to make your Wedding as personal to you as possible. I have a constantly evolving library of thousands of songs, and can bring in exceptional, time-tested playlists for your event that can be customized in any way, and am glad to use your playlists as well.

We can have extensive consultations by phone, Zoom meeting or in person, to go over every detail of all the things I’ll be doing for you. I am available for consultation from the moment I’ve been booked, and am glad to take as much time as needed.

A Unique Experience

I have experience with all different types of weddings, from all different ethnicities and cultures, and have extensive playlists from around the world. I can accommodate any different or special event you might have inside your reception or ceremony.

What I Bring!

I have a multi-input board in my booth that will allow extra mics and inputs for outside performers, singers, etc. and can provide one extra wireless mic besides my own.

I’ve been working with Wedgewood’s excellent staff and coordinators for years. We have a great working relationship, and I am able to get everything we want and need to do in our reception into their timeline in a fun, and understated way.
